Shared commitment towards a sustainable future
Hamburg Süd is a commercially independent company within the Maersk family. Because all assets are deployed via a shared equipment pool, Hamburg Süd and Maersk are jointly pursuing sustainability goals. This especially holds true regarding ecological issues, such as climate protection. Our actions are in line with the Sustainable Development Goals as set up by the United Nations
Our ESG strategy
Our ESG strategy is centered around our three core commitments and 14 material categories within the environmental, social and governance (ESG) dimensions where we can create the greatest positive impact for the world. We continuously measure and report on our progress against set targets for each of the 14 categories we work on.
